Promise Cough
Promise Cough was developed to assist animals through the coughing period of the disease Kennel Cough. As well as assist with various other coughs from cold or flu that dogs will be exposed to.
For the safety of animals, all ingredients are sourced from human naturopathic manufacturers and blended by an animal naturopath.
Promise Cough
- Stimulates a low immune system and regulates an overactive immune system.
- Has antibacterial and antiviral actions and it is used traditionally for skin diseases ncluding furuncles (boils), carbuncles, septicaemia and to aid wound healing generally. It is commonly used to help fight infections including colds and influenza, recurrent nfections, especially of the respiratory and urinary tracts. Echinacea may be particularly useful for treating infections where there is a resistance to antibiotics.
- Reduce recovery period and effective in the management of chronic infections of some illnesses.
- Indicated in cases where the immune system is weakened or suppressed, as well as in the management of autoimmune diseases. It is also useful in the prevention of bacterial and viral infections, especially colds and influenza.
- Has a soothing effect on the airways and brings relief from most types of acute and chronic (long‐term) coughs. Its expectorant action (expelling mucus) helps to clear the airways of excessive phlegm and catarrh. An antitussive (anti‐cough) action elps to relieve bronchial spasms and provides relief from dry or asthmatic coughing. These actions make Cough suitable for many disorders of the respiratory tract including sore throat, catarrh, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute and chronic bronchitis, pleurisy and neumonia. Also for the relief of chest complaints including infections and inflammations.
- Gently stimulating expectorant
- Reflex soothing action on the respiratory system. It helps to loosen dry coughs and soothe bronchial tension.
- Combines the soothing and relaxing actions of mucilage with the stimulating expectorant action of saponins.
- It can be used for any catarrh in the lower respiratory tract, for bronchitis, hay fever, as well as to soothe the inflammation of such conditions. Soothing irritating inflammations of the trachea and bronchial tubes. It is also effective for hard, dry coughs and bronchial spasm.
